After leaving the competition circuit over 13 years ago,
 "TEAM ICEGURU" of "ICE SCULPTURES Ltd"
is proud to be back in the game.

As Canada
For These Events 
Ice Sculpting competitions are rapidly
becoming very lucrative for both organizers
 and artists alike.
 This year, more than 200 ice sculptors
battled for over $100,000 in cash
 and prizes just in North America alone.

Over 300 pounds of ice was suspended on a vertical fuse at the waist The texture was silk screened on the back of the neck

Professional Team Event: 15 Blocks, 300# each in only 30 Hours.

The "TIGER SHARK" shown below
was the design used to win the "2008 TOUR OF CHAMPIONS"

 This was titled "SURF & TURF"

 

N.I.C.A. Sanctioned events are judged on criteria such as how well the seams are hidden where 2 pieces of ice are attached. Higher scores are given if these lines don't run right through the sculpture where they distract from the composition. 

Utilizing all the available ice and having an original design that hasn't been done before also help a sculpture score high.
