1. Overview
Ice Guru Events (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a photo delivery service that sends event photos directly to guests via MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) text messages. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in connection with this service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Mobile Phone Numbers
To deliver your photos, we collect your mobile phone number at the time of the event. This number is provided voluntarily by you or an authorized event representative.
2.2 Photo Content
Photos taken at our photo booth experience are captured and stored temporarily for the sole purpose of delivery via MMS.
2.3 Usage Data
We may collect basic delivery metadata such as message delivery status and timestamps for troubleshooting purposes only.

By providing your mobile phone number and consenting to receive MMS messages from Ice Guru Events, you agree to receive photo delivery messages sent via our messaging service powered by Twilio. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us.

5. Non-Sharing of Mobile Numbers
🔒 We do not sell, rent, lease, share, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile number will never be used for unsolicited outreach beyond the delivery of your event photos.
Mobile numbers are only shared with Twilio, Inc. — our SMS/MMS infrastructure provider — solely for the technical purpose of delivering your photos. Twilio is bound by its own privacy policy and applicable telecommunications law.
6. Data Retention
Mobile phone numbers are retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the photo delivery and are not retained for future marketing use unless you separately opt in through another program. Photos are stored temporarily and purged after delivery confirmation.
7. Third-Party Service Providers
We use Twilio, Inc. as our messaging infrastructure provider. Twilio processes message delivery on our behalf and is subject to its own Privacy Policy, available at www.twilio.com/legal/privacy. Beyond Twilio, your mobile number is not shared with any other third parties.
8. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Opt out of MMS messaging at any time by replying STOP
- Request confirmation of what information we hold about you
- Request deletion of your mobile number from our records

9. Children’s Privacy

Ice Guru Events provides a photo booth MMS delivery service that sends event photographs directly to guests via text message using Twilio infrastructure. This service is provided as a courtesy feature of your event experience.
3. Eligibility and Consent
By providing your mobile number, you represent and warrant that:
- You are the account holder or have authorization from the account holder to receive MMS messages
- You are at least 18 years of age, or a legal guardian is consenting on your behalf
- You consent to receive MMS messages from Ice Guru Events via Twilio containing your event photos
- You understand that standard message and data rates may apply as set by your mobile carrier
4. Opt-Out / STOP Instructions
You may opt out of receiving MMS messages from Ice Guru Events at any time by replying STOP to any message. Upon receipt of STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent to that number.

5. Message Frequency and Costs
📱 Message frequency varies by event. You may receive 1–3 messages per event session. Message and data rates may apply based on your carrier plan.
Ice Guru Events is not responsible for any charges assessed by your mobile carrier in connection with receipt of MMS messages.
6. Photo Usage and Intellectual Property
Photos taken at Ice Guru Events photo booths are provided for personal use only. By participating in the photo experience:
- You grant Ice Guru Events a limited license to display event photos on our social media and marketing materials unless you specifically request otherwise in writing
- You retain personal rights to your own likeness
- You agree not to use photos from our service for commercial purposes without prior written consent
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the photo delivery service for any unlawful or harmful purpose
- Attempt to intercept, access, or distribute photos belonging to other event guests
- Use the service in any way that interferes with its operation or with Twilio’s network
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The MMS photo delivery service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Ice Guru Events does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or timely delivery of MMS messages. Delivery depends on third-party carriers and infrastructure beyond our control.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ice Guru Events shall not be liable for:
- Failure or delay in delivering MMS messages due to carrier issues, network outages, or Twilio service disruptions
- Any unauthorized access to photos in transit
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this service
10. Twilio Platform
This service is powered by Twilio, Inc. By using our MMS delivery service, you acknowledge that your message may be processed through Twilio’s platform and infrastructure. Ice Guru Events is responsible for ensuring Twilio is used in compliance with applicable laws and Twilio’s Acceptable Use Policy.
11. Privacy
Your use of this service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. Our Privacy Policy addresses in detail how we collect, use, and protect your mobile number and photo data.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be resolved in the courts of Kent County, Michigan.
13. Modifications
Ice Guru Events reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted at www.iceguru.com. Your continued participation in our MMS delivery service following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
